We booked the Small Group to Alpejurra tour. The tour is a great value and well worth the money and the time. It was a very long and full day. We learned much about the area, visited beautiful mountain towns, tasted local foods, and enjoyed mountain vistas. Our guide, Gonzalo, was a pleasure and fun to spend the day with. He communicated well in English. Highly recommended.

I desperately needed tickets to the Alhambra and they were booked out weeks before my trip : (
I could only get tickets to the Genaralife but not Nasrid Palaces. All the planing and expense for my trip to Granada would have been in vain if not for the help of
Lilly. We ended up getting the Granada card with guided tour of Alhambra for 2. It was a lot more than I had intended to spend as I had not wanted a tour. However I was so incredibly happy that I went with Discovering Spain. We saved so much by going with them directly rather than an online company. Our guide Jesus is an art historian with so much of passion, talent and knowledge. He gave so much colour and depth to our tour. He was patient and interested in what we wanted to do. He went at our pace (my Mum is 71), and tailor’s the tour to your interests, and was a real gentleman. Lilly was super helpful with local tips and a very prompt and good communicator. What I like most about Lilly was that she was so helpful and professional and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t want or need. We did end up making pretty good use of the Granada Card and the Alhambra tour was the most memorable experience my Mum and I have had in the longest time. Thank you both Lilly and Jesus, you guys helped make our Granada trip incredible.

Description
Visiting Úbeda and Baeza from Granada is one of the must-see from a historical, monumental and artistic point of view. They are both two historical jewels wrapped in monumental buildings and olive groves.
We will start stopping in Baeza, a magnificent city with monuments and history marked by Arab domination and the reconquest. You will be able to walk through squares such as Santa María, in front of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Our Lady or look at the façade of the Jabalquinto Palace. Places of Gothic origin with impressive façades, adorned by pineapple nails, diamond tips, bows, pinnacles, heraldic… Examples of beauty and style that impresses art historians and any visitor who walks through this place.
Just 10km from Baeza, its twin city: Úbeda. It is famous for its hills and olive groves. You will walk through the main gate and streets that surround Santa María de los Reales Alcázares. The Church of San Pablo, the Plaza de los Leones, the Town Hall…. again examples of Renaissance architecture that make them unparalleled Heritage cities.
A mixture of historical beauty that fits perfectly with the explanations that a local guide will give us on a guided tour of one city and free time in the other. Our Digital Guide to the city and Úbeda and Baeza will be essential to enjoy even more the city in your free time for it.
