Nerja and Frigiliana Day Trip from Granada with Private Transfer

Learn more about the Costa del Sol with this Nerja & Frigiliana day trip from the city center of Granada. A different sun and beach proposal, that complements what you have already seen on the beaches of Malaga.

The towns of Nerja and Frigiliana are those whitewashed towns that are reminiscent of walks through the Greek islands, which contrast with the blue of the Mediterranean Sea from the Balcón de Europa and the red of the geraniums in the streets of Frigiliana.

This tour includes all the transfers with a private driver just for you.

Description

The Malaga coast is a coast of contrasts, not only for its beaches but also for its history, its people, and its architecture. With many things in common and at the same time different, the paradise of Nerja and Frigiliana is the most sought after by tourists from all over the world, discover why with this excursion from Granada.

In Nerja, as it could not be otherwise, we will enjoy one of the most important enclaves at a geological level: the Nerja Cave. An opportunity to visit the depths of the Earth, which date back more than 5 million years. A place that brings together countless stalactites and stalagmites, as well as prehistoric art that is more than 5,000 years old. It also has a Virtual Reality Room on its premises, which complements the visit and shows spaces that cannot be visited for reasons of conservation or accessibility.

We cannot visit Nerja without making a stop at the Balcón de Europa, a beautiful viewpoint perfect for taking a panoramic photograph of the Mediterranean Sea, or posing next to the famous statue of King Alfonso XII (who named this wonderful place after his visit to Nerja ).

Later our transport will take us to Frigiliana, one of the most beautiful and bright white towns in La Axarquía in Malaga, which invites us to stroll through its steep streets, with whitewashed walls and decorated with flowers, while staircases, passageways, and patios unfold before us.

We booked the Small Group to Alpejurra tour. The tour is a great value and well worth the money and the time. It was a very long and full day. We learned much about the area, visited beautiful mountain towns, tasted local foods, and enjoyed mountain vistas. Our guide, Gonzalo, was a pleasure and fun to spend the day with. He communicated well in English. Highly recommended.

I desperately needed tickets to the Alhambra and they were booked out weeks before my trip : ( I could only get tickets to the Genaralife but not Nasrid Palaces. All the planing and expense for my trip to Granada would have been in vain if not for the help of Lilly. We ended up getting the Granada card with guided tour of Alhambra for 2. It was a lot more than I had intended to spend as I had not wanted a tour. However I was so incredibly happy that I went with Discovering Spain. We saved so much by going with them directly rather than an online company. Our guide Jesus is an art historian with so much of passion, talent and knowledge. He gave so much colour and depth to our tour. He was patient and interested in what we wanted to do. He went at our pace (my Mum is 71), and tailor’s the tour to your interests, and was a real gentleman. Lilly was super helpful with local tips and a very prompt and good communicator. What I like most about Lilly was that she was so helpful and professional and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t want or need. We did end up making pretty good use of the Granada Card and the Alhambra tour was the most memorable experience my Mum and I have had in the longest time. Thank you both Lilly and Jesus, you guys helped make our Granada trip incredible.
