We recommend that all visitors wear comfortable shoes, preferably flat and closed to avoid falls, slips or trips, especially on rainy or icy days, given that some areas that can be visited have an uneven and rough surface, such as cobblestones, steps of different heights and dirt floors.

All tickets are nominative, as well as personal and non-transferable. Each visitor must provide their full name and ID or passport number in order to purchase tickets. And present this document MANDATORYLY, along with your ticket, at the access control on the day of the visit.

Monument regulations

  • Access: You can only access each of the visitable spaces (Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces, Partal Gardens, and Generalife) once.
  • Backpacks: It is prohibited to enter with backpacks or bags larger than 40×40 cm.
  • Baby strollers: The use of baby strollers is not allowed inside the visitable spaces (Nasrid Palaces, Generalife, Alcazaba and Partal), as well as in the Alhambra Museum. However, its use is possible along the routes that link these spaces together.
  • Photographs: It is only permitted to take photographs without a flash and without a tripod, monopod or any other stabilization element for cameras. It is not allowed to use selfie sticks or similar in the Nasrid Palaces or in any closed space.
  • Food: You cannot access the monumental site with food or drink, there are spaces designated for this.
  • Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in the monumental complex, including outdoor spaces.
  • Decorations: It is not allowed to touch the plasterwork, tiling, columns, plants, or climb on any structure or archaeological remains.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed. Except guide or emotional support dogs with their corresponding documentation.

 

This activity includes access to the Nasrid Palaces only if this option has been reserved. Access to the Nasrid Palaces must be at the time expressly indicated on the ticket.

The occasional closure of some of the different spaces that can be visited, for reasons of maintenance or urgent needs of the Board of Trustees of the Alhambra and Generalife, will be duly informed to the public and will not imply a discount or refund of the entrance fee.
